Objectives (course unit)

Instrumental Pedagogue 2:
Students are able to piece together the Requiments of Elementary Instruction in Instruments. They can create target-orientated long time and lesson Plans observing the Level of Development of the Pupil.
Music Theory Pedagogue 2:
Students are able to fit suitable methods in the instruction of learners of different ages. They have the ability to take into consideration the demands set by different types of learning environments and interest groups. They have the skills for instruction that meets the aims and to give and get appropriate, constructive feedback.
Students become familiar with the instruction of the basics of music at music institute level and have obtained skills and knowledge necessary for the instruction of learners of the basics of music. Their instruction complies the objectives set for it and they are able to carry out instruction duties according to the curriculum. They have ability to treat the pupils individually and choose methods for individualized and learner-centred teaching.
With the help of the skills gained during the course, the students are able to perform duties to meet focused aims. They are able to choose appropriate and creative methods to meet aims of the instruction and to reflect their observations.
Choir conducting pedagogy 2: Students have the skills of rehearsing basic- and medium level choirs. They know how to plan rehearsals and become acquainted with different types of choirs. Students have the basic skills of working as a artistic director of a choral society.
