Objectives (course unit)
The student
- is able to prepare patient for the operation;
- is able to monitor vital signs;
- knows how to apply the principles of aseptic practice and is able to follow standard infection control precautions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Perioperatiivisen hoitotyön teoriaopinnot oltava käyty tai niitä käydään orientoivan harjoittelun rinnalla.
100% osallistuminen jokaiseen kolmeen teema-alueeseen (anestesiahoitotyö, leikkaushoitotyö, perioperatiivinen laiteteknologia) ja teoriajakson (7K00CT81-3021) orientaatiossa ohjeistettujen ennakkotehtävien tekeminen. Ennakkotehtävät tulee olla kirjallisina mukana laiteteknologian tunnilla.

Student workload
Orientaatiotuntiin osallistuminen, joka on teoriajakson (7K00CT81-3021) orientaation yhteydessä. Opiskelijalla 4h anestesiahoitotyön, 4h leikkaushoitotyön ja 3h perioperatiivisen laiteteknologian orientoivaa harjoittelua sekä itsenäistä opiskelua.

Hylätty suoritus:
Alle 100% läsnäolo tai passiivinen, epäammatillinen osallistuminen harjoitustunneilla.
Opiskelija ei ole tehnyt eikä ole palauttanut opettajalle ennakkotehtäviä laiteteknologian tunteja koskien.
