Objectives (course unit)
The student
- is able to prepare patient for the operation;
- is able to monitor vital signs;
- knows how to apply the principles of aseptic practice and is able to follow standard infection control precautions.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Perioperatiivisen hoitotyön teoriaopinnot oltava käyty tai niitä käydään orientoivan harjoittelun rinnalla.
100% osallistuminen jokaiseen kolmeen teema-alueeseen (anestesiahoitotyö, leikkaushoitotyö, perioperatiivinen laiteteknologia) ja orientaatiossa ohjeistettujen ennakkotehtävien tekeminen. Ennakkotehtävät tulee olla mukana laiteteknologian tunnilla, ilman tehtäviä ei voi osallistua laiteteknologian tunnille.

Opiskelijalla 4h anestesiahoitotyön, 4h leikkaushoitotyön ja 3h perioperatiivisen laiteteknologian orientoivaa harjoittelua sekä itsenäistä opiskelua.

Alle 100% läsnäolo tai passiivinen, epäammatillinen osallistuminen harjoitustunneilla.
Opiskelija ei ole tehnyt eikä ole palauttanut opettajalle ennakkotehtäviä laiteteknologian tunteja koskien.
