Objectives (course unit)

After completing the course, the student is able to understand the role of the information network as part of the digital environment and know how to make small-scale corrective actions.

Content (course unit)

Get to know the network's active devices and workstations and their settings and operations.
The basic standards and protocols of the network are also being studied.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student connects the computer to the network physically and logically.
The student activates the active devices of the network.
The student will test the functionality of the connection between the devices on the network.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student describes the movement of information on the Internet using layered patterns.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student creates a local area network.
The student determines the settings of the network devices from the given input data and places them on the devices.
