Objectives (course unit)

Opiskelija osaa:
- prosessiteollisuuden yhden automaatiojärjestelmän yleisrakenteen ja toiminnot
- järjestelmän toiminnallisuuden ja liitynnät tuotannon muihin järjestelmiin
- automaatiojärjestelmän käyttämän automaatiokielen
- osaa valita oikean prosessiinasennustavan yleisimmille mittalaitteille
- kenttälaitteiden liityntätavat automaatiojärjestelmään.

Automaatiojärjestelmän toiminnalliset osa-alueet. Automaatiojärjestelmän yleisrakenne. Kenttälaitteiden liityntä järjestelmään. Automaatiokieli.Yleisimpien mittalaitteiden asennus prosessiin.

Mittaustekniikka 1, Teollisuusautomaatio.

Exam schedules

The exam is informed in the beginnig of the course. The failed course can be compensated by passing a new exam.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Student performance assessment is based on completed home excercises and a passed exam.

Classroom teaching, home exercises, possibly guest lectures.

Lectures, notes made by a student, other referred material by a lecturer.

Student workload

The total working hours for passing the course is ca. 81 hours (ca. 3 cp x 27 h/cp). Classroom teaching requiring 27 hours, a student has to reserve about 51 hours for self-learning.

Content scheduling

The course contains 9 x 3 hours for classroom teaching. The more detailed course structure is treated in the first class and it will be available in the course information on Tabula afterwards.
