Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to
- make a measurement task under supervision
- make a data sheet under supervision
- calculate the results of the measurement task
- make a graph representing the results
- make an appropriate error analysis
- draw up a report in accordance with standards
Content (course unit)
Measurements in ICT Engineering.
Calculations of the results including linear regression.
Drawing up reports about the measuring tasks.

Assessment methods and criteria
This course emphasizes on measurement in ICT and report writing. The evaluation is based on 0-5 grading scale where 0 is fail and 5 is excellent. Active participation in class and group or teamwork are required. To get a minimum pass, student need to get at least 80% of the total attendance, attending sessions and doing exercises, and, at least one submitted report.

Teaching methods
Lectures, Collaborative learning coupled with online exercises, Reading and analyzing scientific reports, producing scientific reports. Students are required to bring their devices to class.
Learning materials
Some materials and exercises will be provided during the course. Authentic online materials will be used as well. Students will familiarize themselves with TAMK's report guide and report template.

Student fails to meet 80% attendance, exercises and assignments left uncompleted or undone.

Satisfactory (1-2): The student communicates in comprehensible English on the whole and shows some awareness of the norms for different types of reports; references to source materials are included where appropriate. Requirements regarding participation, meeting deadlines etc. are minimally fulfilled.
