Objectives (course unit)

Students
- work both independently and collaborately in a group
- operates in various environments and assess them in terms of aspects of learning
- recognize, describe and evaluate various pedagogical methods and concepts of learning
- lay foundations for future work as music pedagogues
- schedule plans for time management and study plans

Students have learning skills, ethical and work comunity skills.

Core questions to be answered during the course
- What are the skills a music pedagogue has to possess?
- What duties does the work as a music pedagogue consist of?
- What are the methods of assessment of the different working environments in terms of learning?
- What type of knowledge will a music pedagogue need to apply into the various working environments?
- Why does a music pedagogue need pedagogical knowledge?

Students:

- assess and improve own skills and learning skills
- take responsibility for the group´s learning and the
interpersonal delivery of what has been learned
- take responsibility of their own actions and the consequnces of them
- have an ability to employ professional ethics
- are able to incorporate the diversity of individual characteristics into own work
- are able to work as an active member of a group and contribute to its wellbeing
- are capable of fluent communication in work life communication situations
- are able to lead the work and to independent working in expert duties
- are capable of creative problem solving and making improvements in working methods
- are able to work in projects
