Objectives (course unit)
Students
- know how to act in communication situations in the working life (e.g. e-mails)
- know the basic business English vocabulary and are able to present a topic from their field of study (e.g. company, process)
- know the most important vocabulary of their field of study

Prerequisites (course unit)
English for laboratory professionals 1 or corresponding skills.
Exam schedules
There will be exams at the end of the course. Oral company presentation plus written test.
Evaluation methods and criteria
Active attendance 80%, course assignments, and a possible final exam. No substitute assignments.

Teaching methods
Lectures, class activities, group work, oral presentations, assignments and self-study.

Materials will be provided on TABULA plus student collected materials from their field of study

Students research, prepare company presentations, practice giving presentations, email writing, giving instructions etc.
