Objectives (course unit)

In this course, the content will be agreed between the student and the facilitator. The student and facilitator will create a learning contract to agree the detailed learning outcome of the course.
In general, after completing the course, the participants will be able to:
• Show deeper competence in the specific area
• Identify and describe developments in their own learning and professional competence.
• Show critical understanding of the concepts and theories in the area
• Show ability to work independently and self-directed towards the targets

Content (course unit)

This course provides the opportunity for deep, self-directed and self-determined studies related to an international business management topic. It recognizes the diverse needs of Master's Degree Program students in developing the specific capacities and pursuing interests that are relevant to them in their personal development and particular working context.
The course contents are negotiated between the student and their supervisor. These are recorded in a learning contract that consists of:
- Intended learning outcomes
- Guiding principles
- Structure and sequence of learning experiences
- Timeline for course completion
- Feedback, monitoring and guidance mechanisms
- Criteria for the course evaluation (passed / failed)
Course contents will be agreed separately with each student. They will be specified in details in the learning agreement
