Objectives (course unit)
Students is able to use basic sound design techniques and tools for games, interactive media, tv and films. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.
Content (course unit)
- soundscape
- image and sound narration
- recording effects and narration in and outside the studio
- synchronisation of sound and image
- using current techniques and tools needed for production

Evaluation methods and criteria
Assignments will be evaluated. 3-4 sound design assignments, one essay. Being present is necessary.

Lectures, examples of sound designs, short assignments. Coached practises in sound design.

Ask for possibilities for using your own sound design projects as course assignments. Missing classes can be compensated by doing extra essays and/or assignments.
