Studio Practice (5cr)

Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to develop skills with studio lighting and the use of professional studio practices and work flow. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.

Content (course unit)

The course includes lectures in technique and creative expression, demonstrations and exercises in studio photographing.

Prerequisites (course unit)

Basics of the subject.

Location and time

Photography mainor starts on Monday 27th August in Big Kick-Off for all DMA´s mainors in Kino. Studio Practice starts on Monday 3rd August at 10 in 20061.

Attendance, activity, technical and express level of the exercises.

- Basic studio technique –lecture
- Group and pair work tasks for intensive period
- Demonstration in the studio

No attendance in contact teaching, no course exercises.

Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Under 80 % attendance in contact teaching, weak course exercises.

Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

At least 80 % attendance in contact teaching, active working, expressive and technically suitable exercises.

Assessment criteria - excellent (5) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Full or at least 80 % attendance in contact teaching, very active working, brilliat exercises in the express and techinical point of view.
