Objectives (course unit)
The student
- knows how to act in the university of applied sciences environment and knows the internationalisation possibilities;
- knows how to utilise pedagogical knowledge in analysing and developing his/her learning;
- takes responsibility for his/her own learning as a group member;
- is able to produce formal texts and presentations using TAMK's manual
- is able to use information- and communication technology in a way which supports nursing
- knows the library services, is able to locate materials needed for their studies and search for information

Assessment methods and criteria
Active participation in course work and satisfactory completion of the required tasks.
Part 1. Approved essay, submitted by 5 October. Active participation in course activities and International Week.
Part 2. Information technology: Approved compulsory exercises
Part 3. Written communication: active performance throughout the course and completion of the assignments given, including an essay. The essay submitted in time, written in appropriate manner, and meeting the criteria given.
