Objectives (course unit)
After completing this course students will deploy on a larger scale all the writing skills which they have been developing throughout the ENVE programme.
In addition, the students will find out about abstracts and maturity tests (comprehensive competence exams) as separate text types. They can give professional presentations about their own work and host events with their colleagues and co-workers in a good manner.

The grade is given based on the following tasks:
- weekly tasks in Tabula (should take about an hour of your time)
- electronic exams ( graded)
- summary of an article (written) and sharing (spoken interaction)
- reading three abstracts (making notes) and sharing (spoken interaction)
- group task: leading one session + reflection (= the latter electronic exam)

Tasks are completed. Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of
most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information,
shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and
routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on
familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her
background, immediate environment and matters related to studies

Completes tasks as requested.
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of
specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that

for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects
and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
