Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to
- describe different adjustment methods and define the needs for automation systems based on PI-diagrams
- create control, function and system block diagrams
- search for information independently
- interpret and utilise decrees and standards in the field
- describe different building automation systems and the function
- apply and test automation systems in buildings
- identify the devices used in building automation
- adjust a control device
- explain the idea and use of step response

P, I, D, PI and PID adjustments.
Control and function block diagram. System diagram.
Regulations and standards concerning building automation.
Building automation systems and solutions. Testing the systems.
