Objectives (course unit)

The student is able to select an appropriate microcontroller and peripheral components necessary for the application. The student knows the basics of microcontroller data transfer.

Content (course unit)

Basic components, structures and design principles of embedded microcontroller systems. Principles of data transfer on the microcomputer level. Processor card design: microcontroller, memory, address encoding, peripheral components, interface logic and timing. Implementation methods for digital data transfer.
