Sound Synthesis (5cr)

Objectives (course unit)

Students become familiar with the basics of sound synthesis and learn to apply their knowledge widely to editing the sound of various synthetizers. Students make acquaintance with the structure of a modular synthetizer anh has the skills to utilize it as a musical instrument. In the studies, the main focus lies on the reduction of synthesis, but even other methods of synthesis are covered.

Students have learning skills and innovation skills.
