Objectives (course unit)
Students are capable of successful working as art directors for amateur or student choirs. They have plastic and expressive beat technique and good musical, psychological and pedagogic instrument skills.
Content (course unit)
- beat technique: technically controlled, expressive, and communicative conduction gestures
- rehearsing a choir, guidance in the use of voice, sound shaping, analysis of a choral composition, playing of choral scores, choral psychology and pedagogy
- rehearsing and conducting a choir, even an established own one
