Objectives (course unit)
Students obtain abilities to give instruction in the basics of free piano accompaniment at a music institute level. In addition, they become acquainted with the methodology and teaching materials, and are capable of employing them according to the individual needs of learners of various ages and stages.
Content (course unit)
- seaching for and fitting pedagogically suitable material in the instruction of the basics of free accompaniment
- rehearsing the use and application of the material with students in pedagogy at various levels, with regard to their piano and musical skills
- participating in lectures and making a report on the students´ progress at the end of the term
