Objective of course
Students have a broad understanding of adult education centres, their adult-age education and especially music instruction of adults. They have the necessary skills needed for planning music instruction and music courses in adult education centres and the pedagogical skills to teach them.

Course contents
- guidance of teaching
- becoming acquainted with the work of full-time personnel, especially music teachers
- guided trainee period, independent teaching and supervised assignments
- observation of teaching of music and other subjects in adult education centres and folk institutes

Teaching methods
Guidance, discussions, trainee period, observation, independent work, written assignment

Assessment methods
Assessment of discussions, trainee period written assignments and independent work by jury and teacher. Self-evaluation.
