Control Systems (5 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The students can design control systems and use programmable logic controllers, microcomputers and other controlling devices. They learn how to use controlling devices and attach them to the object being automatized. They also know how to document a project containing machine automation controls and how to program with programmable logic. They learn the basic skills in programming which is compatible with Step7- and IEC 1311 standard, and profibus fieldbus. Relay control systems and programmable logic controllers. PC as the control unit. CAN, ASI and Profibus fieldbus.Student understands economical and ecological sustainability and user orientation in control system design

- Programming of programmable logic controllers
- Programming languages
- Diagram of connection
- Register of inputs and outputs
The student makes project works with PLCs. The student will be falimiar with fieldbus.

Tuntee hyvin logiikan parametroinnin ja jaotellun ohjelmoinnin.
Pystyy toteuttamaan laajan I/O toimintaa sisältävän ohjelman ja osaa hyödyntää realilukuja käyttävät ohjelmamuodot.

Tuntee logiikan, kenttäväylien ja operointipanelien yhteiskäytössä tarvittavan teorian.
Osaa toteuttaa ohjelman jossa ovat seuraavat toiminnot: analogiatoiminta, profinet kenttäväylä, käyttöliittymänä operointipaneli.
