Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to use measuring instruments, programs, and design tools. The student is able to analyze and present the results obtained. The student learns to use the most common measuring devices, programs, and design tools, and learns to install and maintain such systems and produce reports and user manuals. The aim is also the practice of oral reporting.
Content (course unit)
Measurement, testing, and design of microcontroller-controlled devices and communication devices and their construction blocks and software. Analysis and presentation of results. Data transfer measurement methods, embedded systems software development tools and working methods. The topics of laboratory works are in the areas of telecommunications, computer-based signal processing, and programming technology. The course will deepen knowledge and skills in programming embedded systems and using electronic design software.
Prerequisites (course unit)
Microcontrollers, Digital Electronics 1, Electronics, Hardware Oriented Programming 1, Basics of Data Communications, Laboratory Works of Electronics 1
