Orientation to Clinical Training, Nursing of Children and Adolescents 2 (2 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The student
- is independently able to apply knowledge and skills in the nursing of children and adolescents;
- is able to plan, implement and evaluate nursing of children and adolescents in collaboration with the child and family;
- is able to implement children's medication and fluid therapy together with the mentor and knows the ward's medication procedures;
- knows the ward's patient protocols.

First year and middle phase studies completed, at least 135 credits , including the basic level studies in the field of the optional professional studies. Participation in Nursing of Children and Adolescents 2 4 ects

Pakollinen läsnäolo ja aktiivinen osallistuminen työpajoihin ja simulaatioihin. Poissaoloista on sovittava erikseen opettajan kanssa.

Orientoiva harjoittelu on jaettu työpajoihin ja simulaatioharjoituksiin. Etukäteistehtävät ennen harjoittelua.

Student workload

Kokonaistuntimäärä 54 h, joista kertaustaitopajaa 4 h, taitopajaa 4 h ja simulaatioita 8 h.
