Objectives (course unit)

Student:
- improving and verifing clinical skills
- is able to independently examine and interview the sick or injured person
- safely uses equipment used for the examination, treatment, medication or transfer of emergency patient
- can make a working diagnosis and decides when and what kind of emergency care the patient needs
- can decide the triage for transportation to hospital
- is able to decide not to transport the patient and to qualify their decision, after examining the patient and giving them emergency care, in cases where the patient´s status does not presuppose hospitalisation
- increase medication skills
- are able to guide and support the relatives in emergency situation outside the hospital
- documentation , report
- is able to use authorities network and data transform by computer
- can apply medicine and other disciplines
