Goals:
Students know what are composites, and what are their benefits/drawbacks. They also know matrix and reinforcing materials of composites and industrial processing and manufacturing methods. Product application are also handled.

Content:
Composites benefits and drawbacks. Manual production methods like hand laminating, spraying etc. Automatic production methods like RIM, filament winding, pultrusion etc.
