Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to
- know what sample logistics means and related sources of errors
- know the concept and operational principles of automated production line
- describe the basics of automation, diverse automated analysers, their operational principles and use in analysis and production
- name the parts of automated production lines
- name automation-related occupational hygiene and ergonomics factors and know how to prevent adverse effects in their work

Sample logistics and biomedical laboratory technologist’s duties at its diverse phases
Basics of automation and its use in clinical analysis and production
Use of automated analysers in analysis and mass production in clinical laboratories

Occupational hygiene and ergonomics
Prerequisites (course unit)
The student must have passed 7B00CU94 Basic Methods and Analytical Techniques and before the course 7B00CU95 Sample Logistics Automated Production Lines
