Objectives (course unit)
The objective of the course is to develop content production skills. The course provides the ability to utilize graphic and audiovisual communication as well as storytelling in social media content.
After completing the course, the student will:
• understand the significance of content strategy as part of content production planning in social media
• be able to plan and execute goal-oriented content production for social media channels
• know how to utilize creative tools in graphic and audiovisual communication in content production
• analyze the key principles of dramaturgy and storytelling from the perspective of content production

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student is able to identify the key characteristics of content production planning in social media. The student can define the essential elements of content strategy and marketing. The student is capable of independently planning and implementing content production in social media channels with assistance. The student understands how graphic and audiovisual communication tools can be utilized in content production. The student recognizes the key principles of dramaturgy and storytelling.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student analyzes the significance of content strategy and marketing as part of content production planning in social media. The student can independently create a plan for implementing purposeful content production on social media channels. The student can compare and choose graphic and audiovisual communication tools suitable for content production. The student adheres to the key principles of dramaturgy and storytelling in content production.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student understands the overall structure of content strategy, marketing, and content production, as well as the relationships between them in social media. The student recommends an appropriate plan for implementing purposeful content production on social media channels and is also motivated to advise others. The student can analyze graphic and audiovisual communication tools suitable for content production. The student experiments with and develops various ways to utilize the principles of dramaturgy and storytelling in content production.

Webinaarit joka toinen keskiviikko klo 11-12 välillä 10.9.-3.12.2025. Webinaareihin voi osallistua livenä, tai ne voi katsoa nauhoitteena itselle sopivaan aikaan.
