Objectives (course unit)
The course covers marketing and competition law regulations as well as the main issues of making and evaluating contracts.
After completing the course students will be able to
- identify the key rules and sources of law in marketing law
- evaluate whether marketing activities are legal and in accordance with good business practice
- identify the main regulation principles of sound and effective economic competition
- identify the most important basic questions relating to contract drafting
Content (course unit)
What rules and provisions do companies need to take into account in the different phases of marketing?
What is the meaning of regulation of consumer protection and unfair business practices as well as rules concerning intellectual property rights and data protection in connection with marketing?
What are prohibited restraints of competition and how they have to be considered in business?
What are public procurements?
What are the key questions to be taken into account in drafting contracts?
How are contracts to be interpreted?
