Objectives (course unit)
Basic terms, principles and rules of consumer protection law and intellectual property law are considered. In addition, questions regarding regulation of trade are discussed.
Students
- know basic concepts, principles and rules of consumer protection law
- know basic norms that protect consumers, such as demands regarding marketing and terms of contract
- know rules and principles to be considered in consumer trade
- know principles regulating product safety and product liability
- know consumers’ legal protection means and authority organisation
- know basics of trade regulation
- know basic concepts, principles and rules of intellectual property law
- can apply the above-mentioned laws and analyse and solve related legal questions
