Objective of course
Students are acquainted with the work of teacher of music theory at the upper secondary level. Students are capable of applying their skills in music theory, analysis of music, aural perception, writing music and history of music to teaching music theory at the upper secondary level.

- curricula of the upper secondary level
- objectives, contents and teaching materials of music theory, analysis of music, aural perception, writing music and history of music at the upper secondary level
- teaching in professional training
- observation and assisting in teaching

Discussion, assisting in teaching, feedback, observation, summaries of literature

Assessment methods
Participation in the work forms will be assessed. Teacher assessment, peer review, self-evaluation.

Auskultantti osallistuu C-kurssitutkintosuoritusta valmistelevan opiskelijan tunnille kuunnellen ja osallistuen opetukseen.

Teaching methods

Auskultantin aktivoiminen omaan ajatteluun ja ongelmanratkaisuun kysymyksillä ja erilaisilla näkökulmilla opetustilanteessa. Keskustelu ja näkemysten vaihtaminen. Uusien työkalujen omaksuminen käytännönläheisessä työskentelyssä.

Opiskelija osallistuu lähiopetukseen ohjaavan opettajan assistenttina 20x 45 minuuttia lukuvuoden aikana.
