Objectives (course unit)

-are able to apply their knowledge of topographic anatomy in CT examinations
-are able to name anatomic structures in a CT image
-know the most common CT examinations carried out to adults or children
-know the principles of safe working in CT examinations
-know how to guide patients in CT examinations
-know the contrast media and intensifiers used in CT and their use, influence mechanism as well as their side effects
-discern the findings discovered with CT
-know how to act in cases of emergency

-Computed Tomography and CBCT devices with auxiliary equipment
-Examination process in CT examinations
-Factors affecting to image composition and image quality
-Safety in CT examinations
-Use of contrast media
-Optimizing the dose of radiation in CT examination
-Children in CT examination
-Radiology

-Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II

- Tietää turvallisen työskentelyn perusteet TT-tutkimuksissa
- Tietää tutkimusprosessin ja potilaan ohjauksen TT- ja KKTT -tutkimuksissa
- Tietää ensiapukäytänteet
- Tietää varjoaineiden käytön

- Osaa soveltaa topografisen anatomian perustietoja ja osaa nimetä TT-kuvasta anatomisia kohteita
- Tietää turvallisen työskentelyn perusteet TT-tutkimuksissa
- Tietää eri-ikäisten potilaan ohjauksen TT- ja KKTT -tutkimuksissa
- Alkaa tunnistaa radiologisia löydöksiä TT-kuvista
- Tietää ensiapukäytänteet tietokonetomografiassa

- Osaa soveltaa monipuolisesti topografisen anatomian tietoja ja nimetä TT-kuvista anatomiasia kohteita
-Tietää monipuolisesti säteilyturvallisuuteen liittyviä perusteita ja tietää miten potilaan säteilyannokseen voidaan vaikuttaa TT-tutkimuksissa
-Tuntee laaja-alaisesti varjoaineen käyttö tarkoituksen, vaikutusmekanismit ja sivuvaikutukset
- Tietää ensiapukäytänteet TT-tutkimuksissa
