Objectives (course unit)
The student
- is able to plan, implement and evaluate monitoring, care, and individual guidance related to different disorders of pregnant patients
- masters relevant and safe medication in antenatal wards
- is able to observe pregnant women and the wellbeing of foetuses with different methods, can recognize changes in the status and can report the changes to a doctor, and knows how to act in different situations
- knows the examinations performed in risk pregnancies
- is able to induct labour
- is able to perform internal and external examinations, estimate the foetal size, and follow the wellbeing of the foetus
- can communicate in a professional way and can act according to the principles of working life
- can support and comfort patients and their families and give information about different treatments
- can give oral and written reports
- is able to reflect ethical problems at professional level
