Objectives (course unit)

After completing this course students:
-are able to write clear, accurate and persuasive reports and other text types for an expert and general readership.
- can interact effectively in meetings and negotiations, and make informative and convincing presentations.

Exam schedules

The grade is based on continuous assesment on tasks completed on time as well attendance, participation in class activities e.g. Negotiation role play, meetings, etc.

Evaluation methods and criteria

The grade is based on the following assignmnets:
CV, cover letter and job interview
Reflection on the job interview
Negotiation task
Blog text with appropriate referencing
Completing imtercultural communicative competence project

Teaching methods

Workshops, written and spoken assignments.

Student workload

Three lessons per week and tasks to complete each week.
