Objectives (course unit)

Students
- use evidence based methods and take responsibility for maintaining and developing their professional knowledge
- use appropriate working methods with individuals, families, groups and communities based on the needs, economy and social responsibility
- make independent decisions and work according to plans and prioritise their work
- promote health in communities and in surroundings and reduce health differences between populations
- are able to recognise ongoing changes in the society and are ready to work actively for public health issues in the society
