Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to
- apply his/her knowledge and skills in practical projects
- carry out the sampling from soil, air and water
- document the laboratory work clearly to laboratory notebook and report the results in the form of a laboratory report

Content (course unit)

- application project working in environmental analytics
- fertility and heavy metal analyses of soil and identification of environmental microbes
- volatile compounds in air
- chemical and hygienic water analysis of environmental water samples

Opiskelija osaa tehdä ympäristöanalyysejä ohjatusti.

Edellisten lisäksi opiskelija osaa tehdäanalyysejäilma-, maa-ja vesinäytteistä saamiensa ohjeiden mukaan. Opiskelija osaa dokumentoida laboratoriotyöt selkeäasti raportoida tulokset.Hän osaa toimiaprojektiryhmässä.

Edellisten lisäksi opiskelija osaa toimia projektiryhmänsä puheenjohtajana. Hän osaa myös tulkita maa-, ilma- ja vesinäytteistä saadut tulokset ja kommentoida ko. ympäristön tilaa eli antaa lausuntoja tutkimistaan ympäristönäytteistä.
