Objectives (course unit)

The course explores both quantitative and qualitative approaches to the study of law from the viewpoint of writing the final thesis.

The student
- knows the importance of scientific research and development as regards development of work practices
- knows the steps of scientific research process
- knows his/her role in the thesis process
- is able to apply both quantitative and qualitative methodology for study of law meaningfully
- knows functional thesis
- is able to use both theoretical and conceptual knowledge
- is able to report results in writing
- is able to analyse research literature critically
- can follow research ethics
