Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to
- implement a sound design production project
- analyse their know how, used production techniques and outcomes
- collaborate in an international student team
- pay attention to the needs of customers and network
Students know the possibilities of sustainable production methods.

Content (course unit)

- Planning and implementing an indivual or collaborative production project
- Producing a real life production work using resources available
- Networking

Prerequisites (course unit)

Basics of the subject.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Students gets credits and points according to used hours in sound design projects. All projects need to be reported and evaluated in project meetings.

Teaching methods

Project meetings, where students need to define goals for different sound design projects. Most of the course is independent project work. Online work.

In Tabula.

Student workload

Students need to schedule themselves, tutoring meetings are arranged once in a week or less, depending on need.

in Tabula. Projects can be fiction, TV, web or game sound design. Students need to handle production and scheduling with partners themselves.

Student fails to hand in assignments. Student fails to attend classes.

Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Student hands in the assignments. Assignments shows decent skills. Student attend at least 40% of classes. Student shows decents participation in classes.

Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Student hands most of the assignments in time. Assignments shows good skills. Student attend at least 60% of classes. Student shows active participation in classes.

Assessment criteria - excellent (5) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Student hands all assignments in time. All the assignments shows exceptional skills. Student attend at least 80% of classes. Students shows very active participation in classes.
