Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to work in international art scene as a professional level and gets an international network. Student is able to produce art projects within international student group. Student is able to operate in different cultures and communicates fluently in social media. Student develops observing, analysing and critical thinking in international contemporary art scenes, creative collaboration, project management and export of the art works as well as representations.

Content (course unit)

Student brainstorms and makes short presentations in various virtual platforms. Student rewrites their artist’s profile in order to find work partners. Student accomplishes art projects on Internet in a group of international partners. Student groups deliver presentations of their collaboration projects to the virtual galleries, international exhibitions and artistic book projects.

Teaching methods

International Skype conferences, group discussions, individual work in international student group.
Google Drive will be the platform for our documents.

Learning materials

Blurb-books, ppt-presentations disussion material in Google Drive.

Student workload

Mostly individual work with groups/teams.
On line partizipation in to Skype-conferences, group meetings, virtual platform in Google Drive and virtual collaboration with other students.

Content scheduling

Contact meetings usually at every second week,on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm.

Joint course with international partner universities: Korea (CAU), Canada (OCADU) and Germany (BTK).

Also called as a nickname "INTAC", this course is part of a international INTAC-touring exhibition concept. Following exhibitiontake place in Berlin in December 2015.

The student has a lot of absences and activity participating lectures, excercises or assignments is weak.
Student has not faliliarized him/her self into the subject of the course and is not able to apply his/her knowledge to practical work.

Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Student is able to master the subject matter acceptable way.
Student has a lot of abcenses and general activity low.
Reached competencies are tentative and student has difficulties to apply his/her knowledge to practical work.

Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Student is able to master the subject matter well.
Student has some abcenses but general activity good.
Reached competencies are in good level and student is able to apply his/her knowledge to practical work.

Assessment criteria - excellent (5) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

Activity in full filling the teaching tasks is excellent and student is able to master the subject matter well.
Reached competencies are in outstanding level and student is able to apply his/her knowledge to practical work and can innovate both new approaches and their applications in cultural field.
