Objectives (course unit)
The course is aimed at all exchange and foreign degree students interested in visiting local schools during their stay in Finland. The course offers a great opportunity for the students to get to know Finnish culture and school life better but also to share their experiences, promote their own home country together with TAMK and encourage Finnish students to study abroad.
Content (course unit)
The students visit three local comprehensive or secondary schools and participate in lessons for example by giving country and culture presentations or language sessions. The visits can also be arranged through video conferencing.

27 hours in total for preparations and visits.
Content scheduling
After the students have filled in the registration form, the interested schools will be offered a list of the students available for visits, and they will then contact the students directly. The schedule for the visits is agreed upon separately with each school.

The more you highlight your skills, the better chances you will have in getting schools interested in having you to visit them. So make sure to list all relevant skills and areas of expertise!
Assessment criteria - pass/fail (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
The student passes the course if three school visits have been successfully completed.
