Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to make a small video project that includes the basics of camerawork and editing.
Student understands the role of Moving image art as part of contemporary Art. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.
Content (course unit)
Student makes a presentation of a video work in contemporary art context.
Student makes a storyboard and shoots video material.
Student edits a short video work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Good quality in all tasks, all tasks delivered, active participation.
At least 80 % attendance in contact lessons. Student can articulate their visions and opinions in principle. Student shows that they have knowledge in the area of the subject of the courses and that they have a good over all view of the context. Student is able to use basic determinations and vocabulary of the subject. Student knows principles and practices of artistic research. The artistic project made in the course shows critical thinking and the project has been made successfully.

Ismo’s contact hours with the students are 21 hours so he’ll be teaching from 9-12 pm and the rest of the day you’ll work independently.
