Students are able to develop a story idea into a script. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.

Story structures, character development, dialogue, creating story worlds, sustainable development.

Teaching methods

contact teaching (in English), individual and group tasks, virtual learning environment (Tabula), activity excursions, discussions, group work, dramatizations of tasks, giving and listening peer & teacher feedback, reading literature on the subject

Learning materials

Course material given during class; a book on scriptwriting (each student chooses their book from what is available at the TAMK library)

Student workload

The student is expected to complete the course tasks partly outside the contact teaching times

Completion alternatives

The student can pass the course without attendance by:
-- proving she/he has already executed a professional-standard screenplay or several
