Objectives (course unit)
The students know the terminology and the most common procedures of project management. They are able to analyse forest industry projects. The students are able to plan and draw up a project plan related to a forestry production and/or product development project.
The students will do a practical work life project. They plan, implement, evaluate and present a practical work life project thus achieving practical skills and knowledge in project work.

Framework and terminology of project management, project preparations and organising, work division, project planning and budgeting, managing project’s resources, costs and schedules, risk management, project implementation and management, project reporting, project communications, ending a project

Assessment methods and criteria

Projektinhallinta kurssi linkittyy Projektityö toteutukseen, missä projektiryhmät tekevät monialaisen projektin.
