Objective of course
Students
- know how to maintain, develop and evaluate their knowledge of the language and language learning skills
- communicate fluently in English in different business situations both orally and in writing
- master the professional terminology of business communication and know the basic business letters
- can handle business negotiations and other spoken business situations professionally, understanding the importance of cultural background in the way of thinking and working

Course contents
Enquiries, requests for quotation, quotations, orders, complaints and replies to them, terms of delivery and payment, payment transactions. Telephone communication and negotiations, small talk in business

Teaching methods
Contact teaching aiming at authentic, communicative, experiential and cooperative situations of language use, virtual learning and independent studying.

Assessment methods
Active participation in planning one's own learning and accomplishing the objectives during the course, oral and written assignments and self-evaluation. Exam and/or a portfolio composed during the course.

Prerequisites
Satisfactory completion of the courses English for work and business and Business English
