Objectives (course unit)
The BBA final thesis is typically a planning or development task done for a company or an organization. The thesis can also be a research. It is written following the practices of scientific reporting and with emphasis on practical solutions for company problems.
Writing the final thesis will take from four to six months, depending on the topic and level of difficulty. The thesis main idea is to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills to produce topical solutions for company needs.
The students find the topic of the thesis themselves, often during their practical training. The final thesis can be done as individual or pair work, and it can be multidisciplinary in nature. The topic of the thesis must be related to the student’s field of study, and preferably be linked to the student’s chosen specialization module in the International Business programme.
After and during the thesis process, the students will be able to:
Apply the gained theoretical and practical know-how to overcome the challenges of a company or an organization.
Develop professional skills related to their own field of study.
Demonstrate the competence to work independently, responsibly and systematically.
