Objectives

After completing the course the student will be able to- formulate structural optimization problems derived from practical design situations. The optimization problems can be linear or nonlinear with continuous and discrete design variables- apply the principles of mathematical optimization methods for selecting suitable approaches for solving practical design optimization problems.- solve typical structural optimization problems by various algorithms

Content
