Objectives
Students acquire an in-depth understanding of European integration and EU decision-making. Students are familiar with recent academic literature on the EU and can critically discuss current political and economic challenges facing Europe. Students can identify the appropriate theoretical and methodological tools for conducting research on the EU. Students understand how European integration impacts on national politics, the interdependence between national and European levels of policy-making, and how member states, interest groups and citizens can influence EU decision-making.
