Objectives
After course students know the principles behind particle interaction and can control them and use the knowledge to powder processing route of ceramic manufacturing. Student has also knowledge to apply alterernative chemical routes. Student can list different stages of ceramic manufacturing process. Student can explain how different raw material selection and processing steps affect to final structure of material. Student can apply the additive systems for colloidal processing. Student can select shape forming method when producing mass production components small series and different shapes of components. The student can suggest heat treatment cycles for power compacts having different raw materials and made by shape forming methods. During exersices student learns the critical information collecting, good scientific practices in reporting and working as member of international group.
