Objectives
After finishing the course, the student understands the basics of extrusion and various polymer moulding techniques. Student is able to select the most suitable processing technique for a given application. The student knows the basics of the extrusion die and injection mould design and is able to solve simple problems related to the designs. In addition to previously mentioned learning outcomes, the course improves students understanding of scientific thinking, reasoning and explanation. The student will also learn to solve new and complex problems.
