Organic Chemistry 2 (5cr)
Course unit code: C-10122-KEM--340
General information
- Credits
- 5 cr
- Institution
- University of Tampere
Objectives
The course is a continuation of Organic Chemistry 1. Upon completion of the course students will be able to: design syntheses of simple organic molecules; propose the reactant and products to perform common organic reactions, and explain their mechanisms; predict and explain the reactivity of most common functional groups of organic compounds. This course also aims to support other more advanced organic chemistry courses.
