Objectives
The student- is able to analyze their own worldviews, prejudices and stereotypes and the way they shape pedagogical thinking and practices - understands how global and societal inequalities are manifested in educational communities and impact the possibilities of participating, belonging and learning-is able to draw from different approaches of culturally and linguistically responsible and worldview aware pedagogy to develop their own pedagogical thinking and practice in support of equity-is able to enhance inclusion and support diverse identities, learning and growth in educational communities
Content
The course explores culturally and linguistically responsible and worldview aware pedagogies. It examines how global and societal inequalities are manifested within educational communities, along with strategies to advance equity in learning and support diverse identities in inclusive educational environments.
