Objectives

The student will develop his/her scientific competence by deepening his/her knowledge in postgraduate topics in automation science and engineering. The student will develop his/her oral presentation and/or writing skills.

Content

Core contentA series of lectures on the topic of control and optimization of networked cyber-physical system (complex system) with application to distributed robotic network and smart system (power system, transportation system, etc). Reading up on postgraduate topics in automation science and engineering either independently or in seminars.Complementary knowledgeOral presentation. Scientific reporting.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to be familiar with linear algebra and control theory. Review of basics of control theory will be covered at each lecture depending on the background of the students.

Further information

The contents of the course vary in different implementations. It is possible to take the course several times with different implementations.Course is suitable for postgraduate studies.Partial completions of the course must be carried out during the same implementation round.The content of the course is variable.
